To be, or not to be: that is the question! When it comes to pigs and boars, there tends to ‘be’ a lot of them in any given country. That’s because these boar descendants had evolved to take advantage of most of the resources found in any climate. They aren’t picky eaters and can survive on any number of foods that other animals might pass over. Their long snouts let them forage for food. In many cases they even have a better sense of smell than dogs – who would have thought!
