Valentine’s Day is also called St. Valentine’s Day. As you are probably well aware, It comes around every year on February 14th. In America, we use Valentine’s Day to express our love and appreciation for those whom we love, with special attention to our significant others or those closest to us. Unfortunately, the official history of Valentine’s Day and St. Valentine isn’t completely known. Some say that “Valentine” referred to a priest in 270AD who sent his final letter to a young woman whom he had befriended, signed it “from your Valentine.” There are other Legends, but no one is quite certain where it originally came from. What we know now is how it is celebrated in America. More on that later!
